Gower College Swansea is delighted to launch its very first learning platform targeted at those who have applied to study with us from September 2020.

With the ongoing uncertainty surrounding Covid-19, we are keen to strengthen our response by developing a bespoke platform to help keep applicants on track with their learning.

The platform features learning materials, activities and tools from across a range of curriculum areas including health and care, engineering, science and business. Both A Level and vocational routes are featured.

You can access the platform here: https://openclass.gcs.ac.uk

It can also be accessed from the main College website and will promoted across our social media channels.

It would be fantastic if you could share this with your pupils. Any problems logging on, or if you have any feedback at all, please email our Interactive Learning Technology (ILT) Team Leader, Kate Pearce who will be more than happy to help you: kate.pearce@gcs.ac.uk

    Virtual Open Day

Just a reminder, we have our very first Virtual Open Day on Wednesday 24 June from 11am-2pm.

This will be a great opportunity to live chat with staff, explore the College and hear some live presentations from our senior team including Deputy Principal, Nick Brazil.

Visit this page to register: https://www.gcs.ac.uk/virtual-open-day

    Early Enrolment

Our early enrolment sessions (June/July) have been postponed and we have emailed all applicants to let them know that we will be in touch with more information about enrolment when we have it.

    FCF (Financial Contingency Fund)

The FCF fund is opening today and all applications must be made electronically via our website.  If applicants have any queries or problems in applying, they can contact studentfunding@gcs.ac.uk
