Pentrehafod In Welsh Schools’ Under 15s Football Cup Final
On 11th May, the day before the big game, Pentrehafod School celebrated the success of the Under 15 boys’ team with a special assembly.
We were delighted to welcome parents and carers to the school to celebrate the boys’ success in getting through to the cup final.
Local businessman and ex Pentrehafod student, Ray Pennock (Macron, Neath) attended the assembly and showcased the brand new kit he has created for the school. Mr Pennock stepped into the breach when the school realised they couldn’t wear their black kit due to this being the colour of the referees. Not only did Mr Pennock act very quickly, he also heavily subsidised a fantastic kit.
Lee Trundle, club ambassador and youth team coach for Premier League side Swansea City, also joined our special assembly to give our sportsmen some last minute advice.
We wish the boys every success in the final at Oswestry. A big thank you to Lee Trundle, Ray Pennock, Jonathan Morris (head of boys’ P.E.) and all family members who attended to show their support today.
