Hafan Wellbeing Support

At Pentrehafod, the Hafan Team is here to support pupils with any wellbeing concerns. Our dedicated Wellbeing Workers provide a safe, supportive space where pupils can talk about anything that may be affecting them.

We offer both emotional and practical support across a wide range of areas, including:

What We Can Help With

  • Emotional Health
Building self-confidence, managing anger, and understanding emotions

  • Mental Health
Support with anxiety, panic attacks, self-harm, and other mental health concerns

  • Social Wellbeing
Friendship difficulties, bullying concerns, and developing positive relationships

  • Physical Health
Healthy lifestyles, including nutrition and substance misuse awareness

  • Challenging Life Situations
Bereavement, family changes, and other difficult experiences

How to Access Hafan

Pupils can access support in a way that feels comfortable for them:

  • Speak to a member of staff
Ask any staff member to submit a Hafan request via Class Charts. This alerts the team, and a Wellbeing Worker will come and find you.

  • Attend the lunchtime drop-in
Come along to our friendly drop-in session in Room 14, where a Wellbeing Worker will be available to talk.
