Relationships and Sexuality Education (RSE) at Pentrehafod School

At Pentrehafod School, we believe that high-quality RSE is essential for supporting our learners to develop healthy, respectful relationships and make informed choices about their well-being. Our RSE curriculum is designed in line with the Welsh Government’s guidance and forms part of the Health and Well-being Area of Learning and Experience.

Through age-appropriate lessons, we aim to:

• Promote respect, empathy, and understanding of diversity.

• Equip learners with knowledge and skills to stay safe and make responsible decisions.

• Encourage open, honest discussion in a safe and supportive environment.

RSE is a vital part of preparing our learners for life, helping them to thrive as confident, informed individuals in modern society.
